CSPS protects the SBX-1 SSL-A Priority Asset
Our Sea-Based Programs Division is run by a former US Coast Guard Captain who has extensive experience in port and small boat operations as well as maritime safety and security. His domain expertise is supplemented through his previous service on the London-based US Delegation to the International Maritime Organization and currently as the President for the Association for Rescue at Sea. He has extensive experience within the maritime field in the development of CONOPS, use of force protocols, small boat tactics and employment and the use of a variety of non-lethal delay and denial systems.
CSPS recently added to our maritime portfolio with the December 2011 win of the security services contract at the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. This five year, $28M contract has us supplying a range of services from securing the installation access control points to operating small boats in a detect, deter and denial mission.
CSPS also provides maritime consulting services to determine risks and vulnerabilities and then devise MARSEC-based and compliant solutions.

"The quality of Chenega service was exceptional this option year as their performance met all contractual requirements and exceeded many to the Government's benefit. No weaknesses were identified. This rating is significant given Chenega's successful protection of a $1.5B strategic defense asset for which the loss, theft, destruction or misuse would have resulted in great harm to the defense of the United States. In summary, the quality of the product or service during option year 3 was exceptional...and the best-to-date."
